Tralee Magic Basketball Club is delighted to congratulate Muireann Teahan on her selection to the Irish U18 Women's Team.

Getting picked to wear the green jersey is no small achievement — it’s a testament to Muireann’s incredible work ethic, natural talent, and love for the game. She will now get the chance to showcase her skills on the international stage, flying the flag for her club, her county, and her basketball roots.

Muireann joined Tralee Magic this season to continue her basketball journey at national level, and what an impact she has made! A real star on the rise, she has been a powerhouse on the court, playing a key role for both our U18 and U20 national cup teams. This season alone, Muireann helped drive our U18 team all the way to the National Cup Semi-Final, showcasing her skills, leadership, and relentless determination. And the journey doesn't stop there — Muireann will also line out with the U20 team in the upcoming National Cup Final, a huge achievement for any young player!

Before joining Magic, Muireann honed her game with Caherciveen Basketball Club, where she came up through their brilliant underage structure. A massive shout-out to everyone at Caherciveen — the fantastic foundation you helped build is clear for all to see!
