Our U12 girls made the trip to Dingle this evening for their sixth league game of the season, and what a game it turned out to be.

Dingle opened the scoring with the first basket, but from there Tralee Magic responded brilliantly. The girls settled quickly, worked hard for each other, and managed to hold the lead for the remainder of the game in what was a physical contest at times.

As the match went on, the intensity only grew. The final minutes were exciting from the sideline, with great effort on both ends of the court as the girls dug deep to see the game out and secure a well-earned 29–27 win.

Special mention goes to Amelia, who produced a super all-round performance for her team. She showed real determination and toughness, getting straight back into the game after a hard fall and continuing to contribute for her teammates.

Huge credit also to Kitty, Isabella, Ella, Cara, Kate, Fiadh, Katie, Kate and Caoimhe, who all played their part — defending hard, supporting each other, and showing great teamwork throughout.

Thanks to Dingle for hosting and for a competitive and enjoyable game. Another great step forward for this U12 group, who continue to learn, grow and enjoy their basketball together.
